These examinations form a bridge between Key Stage 3 and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme in Key Stage 5. All students take a combination of core subjects and choose a number of optional subjects. The examinations are taken at the end of Year 11. During the IGCSE years, their particular interests and strengths vary across a variety of subjects.
A select group of students can opt out of English Literature.
