Using their geographic skills, students learn about different places, physical and human features in the environment, changing environments and the ways people and the environment affect each other. Maps and atlases help students pinpoint where the important places and environments are in China and around the world.

Some classes even take students outdoors to carry out fieldwork investigations, like surveying a park or the different shops and houses in their local environment.
