For 17 days the Beijing Olympics 2008 captured the attention of the world. They were magical, dynamic, exciting, and at times breathtaking. They were the culmination of years of work in pursuit of excellence. They coincided with the end of Yew Chung's year-long 75th Anniversary celebrations.

Welcome to Yew Chung International School of Shanghai. Our school has many unique features and one that most people have not encountered is the Co-Principal structure. Two principals, one Western and one Chinese, are working side by side to provide educational leadership for YCIS Shanghai. The arrangement flows from the Yew Chung education philosophy, which seeks to unite the best elements of both Eastern and Western traditions.
