David, Year 11, Century Park Campus
As they say, “all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”, so Extra-Curricular Activities like sports are an essential part of a school programme, helping in the all-round development of the students.

Hannah, Year 11, Century Park Campus
To me, a new school year always brings an air of excitement as we welcome new students, parents, and teachers to YCIS. We also welcome the Year 7s to the Secondary school, and they begin to adapt to life at Century Park Campus. This year, YCIS welcomed the new school year with a number of changes, including classes starting at 8:10 a.m. and assemblies being held in the new school theatre.

Aaron, Class of 2016, Century Park Campus
My name is Aaron, I was born in Indonesia and I came to YCIS in Year 6. I can’t believe I’m graduating High School! I didn’t expect to stay in Shanghai so long, and now it’s already been 7 years at YCIS! Being in this international environment, it feels as if I’m graduating from multiple countries.

Brett, Class of 2016, Century Park Campus
My name is Brett, I am from Korea and I studied at YCIS since I was in Year 6. After graduation I will study mechanical engineering and computer science in Hong Kong. YCIS has so many great teachers, but my computer science teacher was especially inspirational. He explained the subject matter extremely well and motivated me to work hard and encouraged me to continue on with my computer science in university.
