Creativity is a powerful tool. It helps engage children in learning, both inside and outside of the classroom. It is a core skill, not limited to artistic or musical expression, and it is important in the sciences, mathematics, and for social and emotional intelligence.
Creativity is also linked to a child’s critical thinking ability, their understanding of the world, and children with developed creative skills are better problem solvers, are more flexible, and are better equipped to adapt to new situations and opportunities.
