Ms Yeung was one of the forerunners in advocating the importance of quality education for young children in Hong Kong. She holds a Master Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from New York University.
Ms Yeung became Academic Advisor of the Yew Chung Education Foundation after retiring from her long-held position as Deputy Director in September 2012. While she was Deputy Director, she assisted the Director to develop educational programmes for the foundation, and oversaw academic development of all Early Childhood Education, Primary and Secondary programmes in Yew Chung International Schools in Hong Kong, mainland China and the US.
Ms Yeung has also contributed to teacher development and parent education in Hong Kong, having taught, lectured and provided consultation to tertiary institutes and universities.
