Recently, YCIS students have achieved excellent results in multiple competitions, including the World Scholar's Cup, Chinese Writing Competition, Caribou Mathematical Competition, SISAC Football Tournament, and the Shanghai Youth Games. These results fully demonstrate their talent and team spirit, and we are deeply proud of them!

 

The World Scholar's Cup (WSC) is a large international academic competition for primary and secondary school students that combines academic and social elements. This event is popular among students all over the world and attracts over 15,000 students from more than 70 countries every year. Each team participating in the World Scholar's Cup consists of three students. Through four academic activities - Team Debate, Collaborative Writing, Scholar's Challenge, and Scholar's Bowl - participants compete with each other in subject knowledge retention and understanding, language and persuasion skills, and team collaboration.

Caribou Round 4 Contest  “驯鹿杯”第四轮竞赛  

 

Caribou Round 4 was again a huge success! A total of 184 students registered and completed the competition paper. Across Years 3-6 there were 21 students that placed in the TOP 10% in the world! During the 17th Shanghai Youth Games (Youth Group) competition, Janos, a student from YCIS Pudong, represented Pudong New Area in the ice hockey D group men's event and achieved excellent results by securing the first place.

 

SISAC Football Leagues SISAC足球赛

In the recently concluded SISAC Football Tournament, YCIS Pudong boys' and girls' teams performed exceptionally well and both won the leagues, once again proving their strength in football!
