Kindergarten, also known as early childhood education (ECE), allows these foundations to be formed under the guidance of qualified teachers, in classrooms designed specifically for children under the age of five. Sarah Jayne Zarzo, ECE Co-ordinator at Yew Chung International School of Shanghai (YCIS Shanghai), shares some of the ways in which early learning can aid the development of children.
