Excellent Exams Results for YCIS Shanghai Class of 2020

The YCIS Shanghai Class of 2020 received outstanding International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) results this year. Our graduates’ impressive average score of 35 out of a maximum of 45 was 5 points higher than the world average of 29.9. As an additional testament to the strength of YCIS’s outstanding Mandarin programme, 52% of our graduates attained a bilingual diploma, a further increase from the years prior (47% in 2018 and 51% in 2019).

We are also delighted that Seonaid, who has been at the school for a combined four-and-a-half years, scored an incredible 45/45 in the IBDP. With this outstanding result in hand, Seonaid will continue her studies in Melbourne, Australia, where she will pursue a degree in Medicine.

Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 situation, the students in YCIS Shanghai’s Class of 2020 succeeded in obtaining outstanding results in their IBDP, exemplifying their abundant flexibility and tenacity whatever hurdles they may encounter. We look forward to following their academic journeys at university and their careers beyond. Best of luck, Class of 2020!
