Wen, Year 7, Gubei Campus

I’m really excited to be back at YCIS after the summer break. Why? It’s because I’ve loved the Hongqiao Campus, and I’m really excited to know more about the Gubei Campus now that I’ve started in Secondary. I’m also excited to catch up with my friends since we were apart during the summer. For sure I’ll miss the other campus and all of my teachers, but I’m also very excited about learning new and interesting subjects at Gubei Campus.

One subject that I’m really excited about studying is Science. At Hongqiao Campus, we began our learning about Science and I’ve always wanted to know more about this interesting topic. Other subjects I can’t wait to learn more about include Design & Technology, Maths, and PE. I think the topic I probably love the most is PE because it’s fun and it keeps you moving. In our health sessions, we learn methods to keep ourselves healthy and we do some exercises to promote an active and healthy lifestyle. Personally, my favourite part in PE is any activity that includes running as I think I'm pretty good at it.

Overall, I’m super excited about this year and to learn more things in Secondary, and I hope that I can achieve the goals that I set for myself this year!
