Koi fish hold great significance as symbols of good fortune in Asian culture.  I used  bold and unrestrained brush stroke to capture the vibrant colours and graceful movements of these remarkable creatures.  Additionally, I incorporated elements of the gold-coloured packaging from snacks as decorative accents, juxtaposing them against the traditional spatial language of painting and drawing attention to environmental protection.
