    • Earlier this month, YCIS Shanghai Regency Park Campus showcased 47 stunning student entertainment acts during the annual Performance Evening. The wide range of performances featured a variety of talent including: a magician, a Hula Hoop master, a Taekwondo martial artist, violinists, a Michael Jackson dance impersonator, pianists, singers, Pop dancers, family musical duets, and much more.

According to Ms Diana Dai, one of the music teachers who organised the evening, “The Performance Evening provides students with the opportunity to be professional performers and to feel the joy of sharing their talents with others. This enriching experience also teaches students good performance etiquette.”

In order to make it to the “big stage”, students had to first go through the audition process. Ms Sophie Zhang, another YCIS music teacher involved in arranging the event, was very impressed with the students’ dedication, commenting that “Many students spent their time during recess or after school preparing for the Performance Evening, and it was evident when the students were on stage!”

The students’ effort and talents were visible to all in attendance, and everyone left with an appreciation for the students’ hard work, and wonderful memories of the show.
