    • Year 13 IB Art students from Century Park Campus recently held a fantastic art exhibit at a gallery in Shanghai to present a culmination of their finest works of art. The exhibition, held at the Zendai Himalayas Art Center in Pudong, was available for public viewing throughout the month of March, and featured a variety of realistic paintings, innovative light and video installations, large canvas creations made from masking tape, and stunning designs created from recyclable materials.

During the gallery’s opening, students, families, and friends came out to support the IB Art students and to enjoy the thought-provoking and beautiful artwork displayed. Ms Alina Ianovskaia, Art Teacher at the Century Park Campus, oversaw the students as they worked diligently to produce and showcase the successful exhibition. Ianovskaia commented, “We are very proud of our IB students’ achievements, both individually and collectively. Each student has their own point-of-view and used processes that went into creating their art, and the experience of curating an exhibition provided them with a taste of what is involved in producing a professional level gallery. We are excited to see what our students have in store in their creative future.”
