    • Learning through play is one of the most important ways children learn and develop. (read Experts Say: Learn Through Play)

This is an idea internationally renowned educator Maria Montessori along with many others have championed during their educational research. They discovered that play is an essential element for children’s growth and helps them develop resilience to face adversity.

Play is an activity where children take part in the process and develop their ability for exploration, imagination and decision making. You may have realised that as a parent, you don’t generally have to encourage children to play. This is because it naturally happens to children to have an urge to play as playing brings them a level of pleasure.

As the founder of Movement Origins, a movement practice that promotes play, awareness and resilience, guest presenter Oki Alexander and his research team have been working on physical education teaching strategies: MovOr Kids - a system that focuses on creating a healthy environment for kids to grow physically, mentally and emotionally over the past 2 years.

Join us for this webinar to discover some of the science behind play and ways to cultivate play between parent and child. We are confident that you will find this topic helpful in supporting your child to thrive in the future, and we do hope you don’t miss out. There will be Q&A session at the end. The presentation will be conducted in English with Chinese interpretation.
