Every time I look at the calendar, I remember that IGCSEs are coming up. Even though it might sound quite scary, I know that if we prepare well, things will be fine – if not even better than expected.
When the bell rings to signal the end of your last exam and an examiner in a suit comes to collect your final 'Econ' paper, exhilaration and relief immediately take over your body. You begin to look forward, with anticipation, to the summer holidays. After a long, challenging year, I think we all need to refresh ourselves and get ready for the next steppingstone of our life: the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).
The IBDP will, no doubt, be challenging but, at the same time, there will also be a lot of opportunities for us to grow. We can become the person we want to become, achieve the goals we wish to achieve, and live the dreams we hope to live – and I sincerely look forward to that!
The things I will learn, the experiences I will make, the people I will meet. These are all the things that make me excited about the next school year. I cannot wait!
