This year’s Terry Fox Run was a great success for YCIS Shanghai and for the local community. More than 300 participants supported this global event to raise awareness and funds for cancer research projects.Students, parents and friends enjoyed the sunny skies while walking, running, rollerblading and skateboarding around the 1 kilometre loop course at the Mandarine City Apartment. For those not familiar with Terry Fox and his accomplishments, you will find more information at http://www.terryfox.org/. This year’s event raised more than RMB 40,000 yuan, which will be donated to Ruijin Hospital to aid cancer patients, and to support ongoing research to help local people suffering from cancer.
