    • Take more than 60 YCIS Shanghai Gubei Campus students, place them on a YCIS Gingerbread-house-themed stage set in the luxurious Kerry Parkside shopping centre, mix in a standing-room-only crowd, and throw in some red Santa hats: that’s the recipe for a successful Christmas concert!

The YCIS students were delighted to perform for the community and to deliver some Christmas spirit. The large audience welcomed the YCIS performers warmly, and enjoyed the Christmas carols (along with a few contemporary tunes thrown in that really got the crowd rocking) on a Sunday afternoon. The students enjoyed walking through the wooden gingerbread-house door to enter the stage, and they captured the Christmas spirit when they invited the young children in the audience to join them on stage to sing along. (Santa) Hats off to Head of Music Sally Davis and the wonderful Gubei students for a wonderful community performance.
