    Gubei Secondary Graduation by the Numbers

    • On May 30, 2013, 49 young men and women rose up from their seats as Year 13 IB students, and walked across the stage as graduates, ready for their future studies at university. The composition of this year’s graduating class is a representation of the diversity offered at YCIS: those 49 students come from a diverse background of 17 different nationalities, and as a class, they will go on to study at 34 different universities in seven different countries.


      The graduates’ interests and talents are also extremely diverse, and all demonstrated tremendous accomplishments, promising a very bright future. Indeed, the students will go on to pursue their passions at respected universities around the globe, including the London School of Economics, University of Hong Kong, University of London – Queen Mary, McGill University, University of Amsterdam, Northeastern University, University of Edinburgh, Art Center College of Design, University of Rochester, New York Film Academy, Imperial College of Science, Technology & Medicine, Singapore Management University, and Atelier de Sevres. Many of these students will be studying business, medicine, architecture, design, and science, and some students will be pursuing their goals in arts, film, and fashion.


      Congratulations to this year’s graduating class, and we wish them all a very successful future!
