    • The fully rounded and balanced education at YCIS takes the extra mile to go beyond the classroom to include after-school sports and extracurricular activities. YCIS’s sports teams have been competing in a wide variety of sports competitions throughout the year. They have been doing well in both the Hong Kong Schools Sports Federation (HKSSF) and International School Sports Federation of Hong Kong (ISSFHK) championships in the school year 2013-2014. Here are some of their achievements:


      HKSSF Swimming Championships


      -          A girls swimming team claimed 1st place overall in the A girls championship-          C boys swimming team claimed 1st place overall in the C boys championship-          1st in 50m backstroke (Girls)-          1st in 100m breast stroke (Girls)-          1st in the 100m freestyle (Girls)-          1st in both the 200M medley (Boys)-          1st in 50m Butterfly (Boys)-          1st in 50m backstroke (Boys)-          1st in 100m freestyle (Boys)-          1st in 4 x 50m freestyle relay (Girls)-          1st in 4 x 50m medley relay (Girls)-          1st in 4 x 50m medley relay (Boys)-          2nd in 50m backstroke (Girls)-          2nd in 200 medley (Boys)-          3rd in 50m breast stroke (Girls)-          3rd in 50m butterfly (Girls)-          3rd in 100m breast stroke (Girls)-          3rd in 50 backstroke (Boys)


      ISSFHK Swimming Championships


      -          Gold medal in 200 freestyle (Girls)-          Gold medal in 50m butterfly (Girls)-          Gold medal in 100m freestyle (Boys)-          Silver medal in 100m freestyle (Girls)-          Silver medal in 50m backstroke (Boys)-          Silver & bronze medals in 100m backstroke (Girls)-          Bronze medal in 50m freestyle (Boys)-          Bronze medal in 50m butterfly (Boys)-          Bronze medal in 200m medley (Boys)-          Bronze medal in 100m breast stroke (Girls)-          U20 Girls finished 3rd place overall


      Badminton


      -          The U20 boys and Girls Badminton teams are so far undefeated.

      -          ISSFHK ICS Mini Meet - 1st Place in the U14 Race-          ISSFHK Cross Country Championships - 3rd place in the U14 Race-          ISSFHK YCIS Mini Meet - 1st place in the U16 Boys Race-          HKSSF Cross Country championships - 1st in the C Boys Race


      Others


      -          ISSFHK DB Golf Championships - YCIS came 2nd overall-          U14 Boys Football ISSFHK - 3rd in the league-          U20 Boys reached quarterfinal in the HKSSF Championships
