    • Last week, YCIS held a presentation on “The Impact of Globalisation on International Education” in partnership with the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai (AmCham). Dr Nanci Shaw, Superintendent of YCIS, and Ms Corrie Zacharia, Head of Admissions for YCIS Shanghai led the engaging presentation at AmCham’s Shanghai headquarters.

The presentation addressed important topics affecting the international education landscape, including defining and understanding international mindedness and global citizenship, preparing children to thrive in a competitive world, and how to identify and evaluate international school options. During the presentation, Dr Shaw introduced a quick, “mini group assignment” for the attendees, and both speakers held a very interactive discussion with the rapt audience. As a leader in international education, YCIS provides each student with a unique, multicultural educational experience. To learn more about global education at YCIS, click here.
