    • The end of October marked the completion of a very successful Tennis season for YCIS’s Division 2 Boy’s and Girl’s Teams in the Shanghai International Schools Activities Conference (SISAC). Four team members, Mitchell (Year 12), Eddy (Year 8), Karyn (Year 13), and Dania (Year 11), were ecstatic to represent YCIS in the final tournament of the season, and took home wins in all categories.

In only the school’s second tennis season in the SISAC league, the day could not have ended any better as the team brought home five trophies in total – Girl’s Singles champion, Boy’s Singles champion, Girl’s Doubles champion, Boy’s Doubles champion, and to top it all off, the team trophy for the top team of the tournament.

After the successful season, Karyn remarked, “We would all like to thank our coach, Mr Dave van Wyk, for his amazing support and help in coaching our team this season. We would never have been able to see these achievements without his training and encouragement!”

Congratulations to the tennis players for their outstanding efforts, and for representing YCIS so well throughout the season.
