    • A very special Christmas Bazaar was held recently at Yew Chung International School of Shanghai’s (YCIS) Gubei Campus. Organised by the YCIS Parent Organisation of Puxi (POP), the annual Christmas Bazaar helped spread holiday joy throughout the YCIS community!

For parents looking for holiday gifts, more than 90 vendors offered a wide variety of unique products to fit everyone’s shopping list. Additionally, a number of restaurants had booths, with the food covering a gamut of cuisines, and satisfying the appetites of the day’s many families in attendance. While parents shopped, children were busy participating in an array of games and activities, including bouncy castles, craft tables for “DIY” gifts, a “DUPLO” station for little ones, and more. A few attendees even had some of their holiday wishes come true early, as they went home with great prizes from the “lucky draw!”

The day also featured a variety of student performances to entertain the attendees and to spread festive cheer through the power of music. The Primary Choir, led by Hongqiao Campus Music Teacher, Mr Brentan Shilling, sang several special holiday arrangements for the guests. Additionally, a local dance troupe showed their skills, and invited children from the audience to come up on stage to try out a few new moves.

The Christmas Bazaar was a fun day for all, including Santa, who was sure to make an appearance! To learn more about POP and the other great events they plan on campus, click here.
