Students, parents, teachers, and friends gathered recently at YCIS Shanghai’s Gubei Campus for the annual IGCSE Visual and Performing Arts Showcase. The well-attended showcase was a presentation of the talents from the recently completed IGCSE examinations in Art & Design, Design & Technology (D&T), Drama, and Music.

The evening featured an impressive collection of workbooks, as well as D&T, art, and design projects on display for guests to view at their leisure. Attendees were also treated to background music composed by last year’s IGCSE students. Perhaps the most engaging aspects of the evening were the live music and drama performances from the now-Year-12 IB students. Guests were treated to violin and piano arrangements, as well as monologues from well-known plays such as A Streetcar Named Desire.

The evening was a huge success due to the wonderfully talented students who provided the performances and displays. To all of the students who completed exams in Art &Design, D&T, Drama, and Music, congratulations on your tremendous efforts and results!
