Recently, the Performing Arts Department at YCIS’s Century Park Campus held a very special performance evening: for the first time ever at Century Park Campus, students and staff presented a “Winter Drama Showcase” -- a compilation of drama, dance, and musical theatre acts prepared by the Secondary students during the first semester.

Students treated the full-house crowd of family and friends to a diverse and exciting programme during the Showcase. The evening featured acts from both Lower and Upper Secondary, including performances from:

• YCIS Players – An extracurricular drama club
• The Dance Studio – An extracurricular dance club
• Year 7, 8,and 9 Drama Elective
• Year 7, 8,and 9 Musical Theatre Elective
• Year 10 IGCSE Drama
• Year 11 IGCSE Drama

A key component of the YCIS educational model is to provide students with the opportunity to study a wide range of subjects, and this is supported by a variety of Co-Curricular activities, where students develop their skills and talents in the performing arts, music, and art.
