    • This Spring, Secondary students at Century Park Campus worked hard to prepare the campus production of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. The musical adaptation of the classic Charles M. Schulz comic strip, Peanuts, was performed and produced by a group of skilled and diligent Secondary students.

The two nights of the performance were tremendously entertaining for the theatre full of families, friends, and faculty. Attendees were amazed by the musical and acting abilities of the Secondary students, and the play brought many feelings of nostalgia as guests recalled memories of reading the original comic strip.

Mr Tim Daley, Director of the musical and Secondary Drama Teacher at Century Park Campus, noted, “We are incredibly proud of the hard work and achievement of our cast, band, and crew, all of whom played a critical role in making this production such a huge success. Our students not only had the chance to showcase the music and drama skills they have learnt over the years within their classes and Co-curricular activities, but they also showed a real passion and dedication to the performing arts throughout the entire process, from auditions through to the final show.”

YCIS’s Music and Drama programmes offer students a wide variety of performance opportunities throughout the year and are an integral part of its holistic education model. To learn more about these programmes, click here.
