    • Yew Chung International School of Shanghai (YCIS Shanghai) is delighted to congratulate the Class of 2018 on their outstanding International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) results. Our newest alumni achieved an incredible average IB score of 35, more than 5 points higher than the world average of 29.78.

As an additional testament to the strength of our bilingual learning approach (which begins in our Early Childhood Education programme), 47% of our students achieved a bilingual diploma.

With these exceptional examination results in hand, the YCIS Shanghai Class of 2018 is going on to matriculate at prestigious universities worldwide, including the University of Cambridge, New York University, Penn State University, Berklee College of Music, UCLA, Purdue University, McGill University, University College London, the University of Hong Kong, and many more, as they will join other distinguished YCIS alumni around the globe.

Beyond their academic successes, this cohort included students who have made a difference in the lives of others with their charity work and community service, talented athletes who competed at a high level in a wide range of sports, artists who have exhibited in galleries, actors who have shone on the stage, musicians who performed to crowds of hundreds, and award-winning science and technology students.

YCIS Shanghai has a long-established international curriculum which has consistently proven itself, year after year, in the exemplary results of its students.
