    • YCIS students, families, faculty, and friends enjoyed the sunshine, summer weather, and music during the end-of-the-school-year Primary and Secondary Summer Concert series! Showcasing performances by the young students in the school’s violin programme, to orchestras, rock bands, choirs, and instrumental troupes, the YCIS community has enjoyed the wide range of student talent at all four campuses.

In June, Century Park Campus hosted their concert on the greens outside, providing the audience with a fun and relaxing night of outdoor entertainment. Mr Rainer Langhans, a Music teacher at YCIS, organised the outdoor summer concert, and said, "This year's concert at Century Park was a huge success. The casual and outdoor ‘picnic’ style event allowed guest to truly relax and enjoy the music. Our student performers and supporting staff worked tirelessly to put on a fantastic evening for their peers, families, and friends. The students' natural talents and skills they developed in their music classes truly shined on stage during the concert, and I couldn't be prouder of their accomplishments. It was the best way to start the summer!"

Music is an important part of the YCIS curriculum, and allows students to express themselves creatively and develop important life skills. To learn more about the role music plays at YCIS, click here.
