    • It was a beautiful day for the annual Back-to-School Carnival last weekend at the Gubei Campus. The Parent Organisation Puxi (POP) worked very hard to plan, prepare, and oversee the exciting event that was full of fun and games for the entire school community to enjoy.

On the day of the carnival, children and their families were entertained by the dozens of activities featured on campus, including a Magic Velcro Wall, bouncy castles, laser tag, sports and relay challenges, bowling, face painting, and much more! The more than 2,000 attendees also had the chance to win one of the many fabulous prizes available in a raffle, including the grand prize, an Apple Watch.

In addition to the fun activities, guests were thrilled by the delicious food on offer from a wide variety of international vendors, including Japanese, American, Vietnamese, Korean, and Chinese selections, and for dessert lovers, scrumptious Dutch pies and cakes. Other local vendors and community groups were on hand to share helpful information about various services within the Shanghai expatriate community, and they also hosted an assortment of games for children to play.

Through POP’s hard work and the support by 108 Secondary students at Gubei Campus, the successful Back-to-School Carnival was truly a delightful day for the whole family!
