    Century Park Campus Hosts Cambridge Learner Awards Ceremony

    • On Thursday, October 26, Yew Chung International School of Shanghai’s(YCIS) Century Park Campus hosted the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards Ceremony. Ms Janet Morris, Director of the International Network of Cambridge Assessment International, spoke on behalf of the organisation to recognise the exceptional young men and women receiving awards for their fantastic results on the Cambridge IGCSE examinations.


      During the ceremony, three YCIS Shanghai students received awards for their incredible marks:

      • Hannah, Year 12, from Century Park Campus, earned a Top in the World Award for IGCSE Foreign Language Mandarin.
      • Oliver, Year 12, from Century Park Campus, was awarded Top in China for IGCSE World Literature.
      • Chloe, Year 12, from Gubei Campus, was awarded Top in China for Design and Technology.

       To open the ceremony, Century Park Campus’ Vice Principal, MrDusten Kent, welcomed all of the distinguished guests from Cambridge and the honoured students and their parents, and he later received an award from Cambridge recognising the campus’ 10th year as a Cambridge school.
